Robert Groffier Bourgogne Passetoutgrains 2020 is a red wine produced in the Burgundy region of France. Passetoutgrains is a unique appellation that allows the blending of Pinot Noir and Gamay grape varieties, with a minimum requirement of 30% Pinot Noir. This wine is composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Gamay, from different vineyards in the region. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo traditional winemaking techniques, including fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in oak barrels for 6 to 8 months. In terms of tasting notes, Robert Groffier Bourgogne Passetoutgrains 2020 is known for its bright ruby color and aromas. red fruits, such as strawberry, raspberry and cherry, as well as floral and herbaceous notes. On the winemaking side, Nicolas Groffier produces great wines for aging which require around ten years in the cellar to be able to reveal their potential. The vineyard of Domaine Robert Groffier Père et Fils flourishes on shallow brown limestone soil. The vines can thus take deep roots and draw in the nutrients necessary for their proper development. The vineyard covers 8 hectares and reaches an average age of 40 years. The estate is at the origin of legendary wines such as the Chambolle -Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses , the Bonnes-Mares and the Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze .
