This Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2020 is a wine of great finesse and elegance, which combines power and delicacy. It is perfect to accompany red meat dishes, game, mature cheeses or simply to be enjoyed alone at the end of a meal.
At nose, very expressive with aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, as well as notes of black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant. Notes of licorice, tobacco, violet and sweet spices (cinnamon, clove) are also revealed.
On the palate, the attack is powerful and ample, revealing fine and silky tannins. The flavors of red and black fruits linger on the palate, with good length. Woody notes are also felt, bringing a touch of vanilla and toast. The whole is harmonious and balanced.

Domaine Robert Groffier has some of the most beautiful appellations in Burgundy , with great wines such as Bonne Mares, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze but also the legendary Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Les Amoureuses” . Since 2005, Nicolas Groffier has been running the family estate. He is committed to respecting the land and the vines. He practices meticulous viticulture where the work on the vines is carried out vine by vine. On the winemaking side, Nicolas Groffier produces great wines for aging which require around ten years in the cellar to be able to reveal their potential. The vineyard of Domaine Robert Groffier Père et Fils flourishes on shallow brown limestone soil. The vines can thus take deep roots and draw in the nutrients necessary for their proper development. The vineyard covers 8 hectares and reaches an average age of 40 years. The estate is at the origin of legendary wines such as the Chambolle -Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses , the Bonnes-Mares and the Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze . The wines are incredibly elegant and offer you unforgettable tasting moments.
