DOMAIN
In 2014, the Moulin and Cathiard families bought Château Beauregard and carried out an in-depth transformation. They also acquired historic properties: Château Pavillon Beauregard in Lalande de Pomerol, Château Bastor Lamontagne in Sauternes and Château Saint Robert in Graves. In Beauregard, the classic architecture of the place remains intact. Wine has always been a shared passion of the Moulin and Cathiard families who came together in 2014 around 4 wine estates* in the Bordeaux region, including Château Beauregard, anchored in the history of Pomerol since the 12th century. Château Beauregard, one of the first estates in the region to expand its vineyard in the 18th century, enjoys an exceptional terroir. Its location on the south-eastern edge of the famous Pomerol plateau allows the property to exploit fascinating and precious land for the cultivation of vines. This predominantly gravel soil, where clay and sand complete its structure, shapes the Merlot and Cabernet Franc in an elegant, gourmet, fresh and distinguished manner.
